For us growing up, a huge part of that was NOT having screen time distractions that kept us from talking. We'd do a lot of family movie nights, but other than that, not much TV at all, and in the month of June (aka - first month of school being out) the TV was literally unplugged for a whole month to encourage us to play together outside! But ya, we talked a LOT in my family about everything, and it saved me from a lot of trouble and heartache for sure.Joshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13423295019681051881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315393574670249538.post-66528399804080783542013-03-10T20:10:13.664-05:002013-03-10T20:10:13.664-05:00My level of freaked out about the subject is direc...My level of freaked out about the subject is directly proportional to how much we've talked about all of this (which is a perhaps abnormally large amount because EEEEEEP).Ms. Future PharmDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17714294574025373030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315393574670249538.post-38078193912717296732013-03-10T19:38:51.659-05:002013-03-10T19:38:51.659-05:00I think keeping a cell phone from her until she...I think keeping a cell phone from her until she's 16 is going to be really hard. I will commend you mightily if you can do it. I think I'll probably want my kids to have a phone so I can get a hold of them but if I'm paying for the service and device I will have every right to pursue its contents whenever I want. I'm impressed you already have so many ideals set up. I think we're just making it up as we to along, but then again our daughter isn't even three yet. I suppose we still have a few more years at least. ;)Esperanzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12375150088333673843noreply@blogger.com
